The meetings of the Employment Councils were held on February 24, 2025, in Neum and Ravno, with the aim of initiating the process of creating local employment action plans.
The Employment Council’s task is to prepare and organize the process of creating the Local Employment Action Plan (LEAP) by conducting a situation analysis, SWOT analysis, defining focuses, goals, and priorities, as well as measures to be taken to achieve the set goals. This plan also includes the development of the operational part of the LEAP and preparation of a draft plan aimed at improving employability.
The held meetings represent an important step in development of a plan that will enable better coordination between different sectors and development of new employment initiatives at the local level.
