REDAH and NALED meeting on BFC

On Thursday, March 24, 2022, REDAH held a meeting with representatives of National Alliance for Local Economic Development (NALED) from Belgrade. Further activities in the process of certification for a favorable business environment (Business Friendly Certificate Southeast Europe – BFC SEE) were discussed at the meeting. The Certification Program for Municipalities and Cities with a Favorable Business Environment was designed and launched by the National Alliance for Local Economic Development in Serbia in 2007. NALED is the Regional Technical Secretariat for the BFC SEE Certification Process, while REDAH is the Technical Secretariat for the BFC SEE for the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (F BiH). The certification program for municipalities and cities with a favorable business environment is a regional process that has been implemented in the F BiH since 2013. It is a process that enables the assessment of the quality of local communities in terms of the potential they offer to potential investors in all aspects that make up local economic development. Apart from Bosnia and Herzegovina, the BFC SEE certification program is currently being implemented in Croatia, Serbia, Northern Macedonia and Montenegro. The process of evaluation and certification of municipalities and cities in the Federation of BiH is carried out within the BFC network of the Federation through the Technical Secretariat, which operationally organizes and implements activities in the field. It is an instrument that enables the assessment of the quality of local self-government units in terms of investment potentials, infrastructure, services and information they offer to potential investors and the economy.
