As in previous years, REDAH continued the practice of hosting students and professors from different studies, so on April 6,2023 hosted students of the third year of tourism studies, Faculty of Economics, University "Džemal Bijedić" from Mostar. The meeting is a field exercise of the course "Tourist Destination Management".
The students were led by an expert in practice, Mr. Ibrica Dizdar. Students were presented the activities of REDAH with a focus on projects and initiatives related to the development of tourism in Herzegovina and the branding of the Herzegovina region.
In particular, projects focused on the development of cycle tourism, the revitalization of the old ĆIRO narrow-gauge railway, the ĆIRO World Heritage Tail, and the Bike Friendly standard were presented. Also, there was a discussion about the Rural Tourism School developed and implemented by REDAH in the territory of Herzegovina. Furthermore, in interaction with students, key challenges, experiences and further plans were discussed in order to continue the activities aimed at developing the management models of the tourist destination.
