The City of Mostar signed contracts with 3 newly established crafts at the beginning of September 2023, the implementation of which will provide support in the form of payment of salary contributions.

The City of Mostar, as a grant provider and project partner, has, for the further successful implementation of the Project "Support to young people in employment in the IT sector", provided funds for the co-financing of mandatory contributions for one worker from the beneficiaries of the Project's grant funds from the City of Mostar for the duration of twelve (12) months.

Beneficiaries previously developed business plans with the support of the project, registered their businesses, and received the equipment they need for work.

Beneficiaries of the grant from the City of Mostar are the following crafts:

REDAH in partnership with the City of Mostar, the University of Mostar, the company IT odjel d.o.o. Mostar and the Employment Service of HNŽ-HNK is implementing the project "SUPPORT TO YOUTH EMPLOYMENT IN THE IT SECTOR", which will last 21 months with a total value of 400,182 KM, of which the amount of EU grant funds is 312,932 KM. The project intends to reduce the discrepancy between the currently recorded large number of unemployed young people and the expressed need of companies from the IT sector for a specific occupational profile.

Local partnership for employment Mostar is one of 20 partnerships established in Bosnia and Herzegovina within the framework of the project "Support of the European Union to local partnerships for employment - Phase II" (LEP II), financed by the European Union with 4 million euros, and implemented by the International Labor Organization (ILO). . This project aims to contribute to the improvement of employment in local communities through local partnerships for employment and improve the skills and opportunities for employment of persons in a disadvantageous position on the labor market.
