At the end of last week, we were on the first part of the tour within the ENVISION project implemented by Save The Children, in which REDAH leads the process of creating sustainability strategies for reception centers for six non-governmental organizations from Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro that deal with socially vulnerable people, children's rights, Roma rights, etc.
From Wednesday to Friday, we worked in special workshops with members of the management bodies, employees and volunteers from Vermont, Brčko, Nova Generacija from Banja Luka and Altruists from Mostar. On the basis of pre-delivered and completed questionnaires, and in conversation with training participants, we analyzed their capacities, management methods, current activities and projects. We talked about their beneficiaries, the services they provide, as well as the levels of cooperation and assistance from the local government and/or other institutions from the public sector. The workshops were very interactive, with very useful discussions and exchange of information. In the second part of the workshops, we jointly did a SWOT analysis.
In the end, we agreed on what obligations and tasks should be completed by the next workshop, and at the same time agreed on the methods and intensity of communication between the coordinators from these organizations and the REDAH team.
This week we continue working on the same topic with the remaining 3 organizations.
