From Wednesday July 6, 2022. until Friday, July 8, 2022. a team of REDAH experts worked on individual workshops with members of the management bodies, employees and volunteers from the organizations Otaharin from Bijeljina, Defendologija from Nikšić and the Center for Children's Rights of Montenegro from Podgorica. On the basis of pre-delivered and completed questionnaires, and in conversation with the training participants, they analyzed their capacities, management methods, current activities and projects. They discussed their beneficiaries, the services they provide, as well as the levels of cooperation and assistance from the local government and/or other institutions from the public sector. The workshops were very interactive, with very useful discussions and exchange of information. In the second part of the workshops, a SWOT analysis was done jointly.
At the end, it was agreed which duties and tasks should be completed by the next workshop, and at the same time, the method and intensity of communication between the coordinators from these organizations and the REDAH team was agreed upon.
REDAH thus, as part of the ENVISION project implemented by Save The Children, completed the first round of workshops for the development of strategies for the sustainability of drop-in centers for six non-governmental organizations from Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro that deal with socially vulnerable persons, children's rights, Roma rights, etc.
The plan is to hold the second round of workshops in the second half of August, when the same methodology will be used with representatives of each of the six organizations.
