On November 3, 2022. In Mostar, training on the topic "Start your business" began in Mostar within the project "Support to youth employment in the IT sector".
The trainings are conducted according to the methodology of the International Labor Organization. The total duration of the training is 3 days: 03.11.; 10.11. and 17.11.2022.
The training includes a theoretical and practical part, and the training participants will create a business plan for their business idea.
During 3 days, candidates will have the opportunity to acquire new knowledge for developing a business idea and unifying a business plan. The educational program will include the following topics: Business plan, consolidation of business idea, marketing plan, employment, organization and management, procurement, determination of costs of products and services, financial planning, initial capital and refinement of the business plan.
After the training, the expert commission will evaluate business plans and select at least 8 of the best business ideas/business plans for starting a business, which will receive support through:
REDAH in partnership with the City of Mostar, the University of Mostar, the company IT odjel d.o.o. Mostar and the Employment Service of HNŽ/HNK is starting the implementation of the project "SUPPORT TO YOUTH EMPLOYMENT IN THE IT SECTOR", which will last 21 months with a total value of 400,182 KM, of which the amount of EU grant funds is 312,932 KM. The project intends to reduce the discrepancy between the currently recorded large number of unemployed young people and the expressed need of companies from the IT sector for a specific occupational profile. The local partnership will initiate a process with planned activities that will create methods and tools for long-term sustainability through the Local Action Plan for employment of the City of Mostar.
The Local Partnership for Employment Mostar is one of 20 partnerships established in Bosnia and Herzegovina as part of the project "Support of the European Union to Local Partnerships for Employment - Phase II" (LEP II), financed by the European Union with 4 million euros, and implemented by the International Labor Organization (ILO). . This project aims to contribute to the improvement of employment in local communities through local partnerships for employment and improve the skills and opportunities for employment of persons in a disadvantageous position on the labor market.
